Ingredients:
- ¾ cup milk (can substitute with soy milk) (¾ Blocks Protein and Carb)
- 4 teaspoons unsweetened almond or macadamia nut butter (4 Blocks Fat)
- Vanilla protein powder to measure (23 grams Protein (3 ¼ Blocks Protein)
- 1 heaping tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder (1/4 Block Carb)
- 1/3 ripe medium banana, peeled, sliced, and frozen (about 1/3 cup) (1 Block Carb)
- 1 ½ cups frozen unsweetened cherries (2 Blocks Carb)
Seasoning:
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Directions:
- Combine milk, nut powder, Ppotein powder, unsweetened cocoa, vanilla in a blender until smooth.
- Stop and scrape down sides with a spatula.
- With motor running, add frozen fruit through the top feeder.
- Pour into small paper cups, insert popsicle sticks and freeze until firm, about 3 hours OR pour into four custard cups or dessert dishes and serve immediately.
- If frozen solid, remove from freezer 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
